The Big New-Mex Review is being developed as a feature-length documentary intended for theatrical exhibition and international streaming distribution.

 

Select short-form digital releases provide early access to the film’s characters, performances, and landscapes, offering supporting material during the production process.

 

The project also includes curated screenings and live presentations in collaboration with communities featured in the film.

 

Director and producer Lance Bendiksen brings a background as a performing artist and composer, with experience presenting work at venues including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, as well as recording and scoring environments such as Skywalker Ranch. This perspective informs the film’s integration of musical performance, narrative structure, and cinematic rhythm.

 

The completed feature is intended for broad international distribution through a leading streaming or broadcast platform.
